So it is a given that this one is one of my anticipated titles for 2k9. I am looking forward to the online for this game but I am definitely looking forward to seeing how they flesh out the single player. The first one had some pretty cool moments IMHO.

it is an attempt by Sony to steal a little thunder from MS and so far it is not quite in force. The achievements were one reason used by some to reason their purchase of multi plat games for the 360. Even when the games played and looked the same on both systems, people would buy the 360 version due to achievements. Not everybody, but a good portion of folks did it this way. Now with trophies coming, that excuse of achievements will be moot. It’s just another form of competition and it works ...
This article is rubbish. Why? Simple. None of the PS3's have USB ports in the back. Not even the best of the PS3's, the 60gb model had USB ports in the back. They all have them in the front.
Tip for those that complain about this:
Buy a USB hub and snake the cord to the back. I know I for one would have loved to see them put a USP port int he back but guess what? They didn't and they aren't going to change that anytime soon so quit your complaining.
LBP is the game to beat this year. It is by far what I call next gen in terms of side scrolling. It doesn't redifign next gen but pulls side scrolling games into the new consoles with flare and it looks amazing!
It's not about teaser trailers, it's about the idea that rather than pulling up to third party developers with a dump truck of cash to buy previously exclusive games only to get a "portion" of the game, Sony is showing what they have in store for us in terms of first party exclusivity, and innovation. GOW3 and MAG may have been CGI, but they were announcements that show the Sony fans that Sony is forward thinking and taking care of their first party titles.

I can't. No, it has nothing to do with the possibility of you opening up a can of whoop-arse on me but rather the fact that you are tight on the money here. MS is making people pay to play online with their console... This is something that is free for PC, PS3, and just about every other device I can think of. Too many folks have made fun of this game in the last couple years due to the fist one being mediocre but honestly, seeing the game play footage and the multiplayer being played this last week or so, I have to say that if what we have seen thus far is not enough to turn the likes of those haters over to KZ2 admirers, then Houston, we have a problem.

I supose if it ever hits the bargain bin, it might be worth a purchase. Then perhaps I might get more interested int he DLC but at the moment, I am not the biggest of NG fans.
Drop the silly fanboy crap boys and girls and enjoy the fact that a great game is going to come to the PS3. It was great on the PC and the 360 and it will be great on the PS3.
And it was well worth it. I waited an extra year for the PS3 over the 360 and got a better working console that has yet to break. Patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait. Now that the wait for great games is over, I am truly getting the best gaming experience the PS3 has to offer. And now, Jack T. tells me the best is yet to come? And I am taking a stab at this but perhaps with all the i-Pod stuff they have in the game, perhaps Steve Jobs would have a say in it? They really marketed the iPod in this game and you have to wonder how much involvement Apple had with the game. Besides, there was so much in-game content that if they were to port it over, there would be a ton of voice acting to be done and a ton of code that would need to be changed. Too much PS3 and Apple stuff in the game. No port will be seen here guys.
